व्याख्या:- राज्य सरकार बीपीएल परिवारों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्रति माह 5 किलो चावल उपलब्ध कराएगी। राज्य खाद्य सुरक्षा योजना के तहत एक और वर्ष के लिए मुफ्त चावल प्रदान किया जाएगा। यह मुफ्त चावल जनवरी से दिसंबर 2023 तक मिलेगा। मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने मुफ्त चावल उपलब्ध कराने की घोषणा की है, जिसके तहत प्रति व्यक्ति प्रति माह 5 किलो चावल उपलब्ध होगा। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार 185 करोड़ रुपये खर्च करेगी। वर्ष 2018 से राज्य खाद्य सुरक्षा हितग्राहियों को मुफ्त चावल मिल रहा है।
