With the participation of military contingents and observers from more than 20 countries, the multinational peacekeeping joint exercise “X Khan Quest 2023” began in Mongolia on 19 June. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mongolian President Ukhnagin Khurelsukh at the exercise site. The exercise is jointly sponsored by the Mongolian Armed Forces (MAF) and the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC). The Indian Army is being represented by a contingent of the Garhwal Rifles.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on 19 June announced the gifting of an indigenous in-service missile corvette, INS Kirpan, to the Vietnam People’s Navy. The announcement is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of the Vietnamese Navy. The announcement was made during talks between Defense Minister Singh and Defense Minister of Vietnam General Phan Van Gang in Delhi. During the meeting, bilateral defense cooperation initiatives between India and Vietnam were reviewed and both sides expressed satisfaction at the progress of the ongoing engagements.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today launched the “Jal Mitan-Young Entrepreneur” Entrepreneurship Skill Development Program in a program organized under the aegis of Jal Jeevan Mission and UNICEF at his residence office in Raipur. Tool kits were provided to 90 Jal Mitans and young entrepreneurs on the occasion. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country, where a large number of youth are being trained for operation and maintenance of drinking water schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

व्याख्या:- झारखंड के कृषि मंत्री बादल पत्रलेख ने हेसाग स्थित पशुपालन विभाग के सभागार में ‘गोधन न्याय योजना’ का उद्घाटन किया। इस योजना के प्रथम चरण में करीब 10 हजार किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा। कृषि मंत्री बादल पत्रलेख ने कहा कि प्रदेश के पांच जिलों में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर ‘गोधन न्याय योजना’ शुरू की जा रही है। गोधन न्याय योजना का लक्ष्य पशुपालकों की आय में वृद्धि, पशुओं की आवाजाही और खुली चराई पर प्रतिबंध, जैविक खाद के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देना और रासायनिक उर्वरकों के उपयोग को कम करना।
Jharkhand’s Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh inaugurated the ‘Godhan Nyaya Yojana’ in the auditorium of Animal Husbandry Department at Hesag. About 10 thousand farmers will get benefit in the first phase of this scheme. Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh said that ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ is being started as a pilot project in five districts of the state. Godhan Nyay Yojana aims to increase the income of cattle herders, restrict movement of cattle and open grazing, promote the use of organic manure and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers.
