The construction of the world’s largest temple, the Virat Ramayana Temple, began on June 20 in Bihar’s East Champaran district. Under the leadership of Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas Samiti chairman Acharya Kishor Kunal, the temple is set to surpass the size of the Ram Lalla temple under construction in Ayodhya. The Virat Ramayana temple will occupy an area of 3.67 lakh square feet and will have a main structure standing at a height of 270 feet, with another structure rising to 198 feet.
