ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने राज्य सरकार के पेंशनभोगियों के लिए पहचान के सत्यापन और जीवन प्रमाण पत्र जमा करने के लिए एक ऑनलाइन सेवा शुरू की है। मुख्यमंत्री ने ओडिशा सिविल सेवा के नए भर्ती किए गए 153 अधिकारियों के लिए अभिविन्यास कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के दौरान आभासी रूप से नई पहल की शुरुआत की।

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched an online service for verification of identity and submission of life certificates for state government pensioners. The Chief Minister launched the new initiative virtually while attending an orientation program for 153 newly recruited officers of Odisha Civil Services.

Photojournalist Danish Siddiqui, who died during an assignment in Afghanistan, has been posthumously honored as the ‘Journalist of the Year’ for 2020 by the Mumbai Press Club. CJI NV Ramana presented the annual ‘RedInk Awards for Excellence in Journalism’. He presented Siddiqui with the prestigious award “for his spectrum of investigative and influential news photography”. Danish Siddiqui’s wife Frederick Siddiqui received the award.

भारतीय रेल सेवा के 1983 बैच के विनय कुमार त्रिपाठी को रेलवे बोर्ड का नया अध्यक्ष और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है। वे वर्तमान में रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष पद पर पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के महाप्रबंधक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। भारतीय रेलवे बोर्ड भारतीय रेलवे का शीर्ष निकाय है, जो रेल मंत्रालय के माध्यम से संसद को रिपोर्ट करता है। कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने त्रिपाठी की नियुक्ति को न केवल 1 जनवरी से छह महीने के लिए मंजूरी दे दी है, बल्कि उनके कार्यकाल को 31 दिसंबर 2022 तक बढ़ा दिया है।

Vinay Kumar Tripathi of the 1983 batch of the Indian Railway Service has been appointed as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Railway Board. He is presently working as the General Manager, North Eastern Railway in the post of Chairman, Railway Board. The Indian Railway Board is the apex body of the Indian Railways, which reports to the Parliament through the Ministry of Railways. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has not only approved Tripathi’s appointment for six months from January 1, but has also extended his tenure till December 31, 2022.

वी.एस. पठानिया ने सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त हुए कृष्णास्वामी नटराजन से भारतीय तटरक्षक बल के 24वें महानिदेशक (डीजी) के रूप में पदभार ग्रहण किया। वह डिफेंस सर्विसेज स्टाफ कॉलेज, वेलिंगटन और नेशनल डिफेंस कॉलेज, नई दिल्ली के पूर्व छात्र हैं। उन्हें नवंबर 2019 में अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक के पद पर पदोन्नत किया गया और विशाखापत्तनम में तटरक्षक कमांडर (पूर्वी समुद्र तट) के रूप में पदभार ग्रहण किया।

VS Pathania took over as the 24th Director General (DG) of the Indian Coast Guard from Krishnaswamy Natarajan, who retired from service. He is an alumnus of Defense Services Staff College, Wellington and National Defense College, New Delhi. He was promoted to the rank of Additional Director General in November 2019 and took over as Coast Guard Commander (East Coast) at Visakhapatnam.

India captured the Under-19 Asia Cricket Cup by defeating Sri Lanka by nine wickets in a rain-stopped One Day International final in Dubai via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. In the match, Sri Lanka chose to bat first and scored 106 runs in the allotted 38 overs for nine wickets. India looks to be a far better team, winning a record seven Asia Cup titles.

नागपुर सिटीजन फोरम ने गुरुवार को नागरिकों के लिए स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और मुफ्त शौचालय की मांग के लिए ‘राईट टू पी’ अभियान शुरू किया। फोरम के सदस्य रजत पडोले ने कहा, “नागपुर नगर निगम की प्रमुख जिम्मेदारियों में से एक है कि सभी बाजार क्षेत्रों में स्वच्छ, स्वच्छ सार्वजनिक शौचालय उपलब्ध कराएं।”

Nagpur Citizens Forum launched a ‘Right to Pee’ campaign to demand clean, safe and free toilets for the citizens on Thursday. “It is one of the prime responsibilities of Nagpur Municipal Corporation to provide clean, hygienic public lavatories in all market areas,” said Rajat Padole, a forum’s member.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्व ब्रेल दिवस 4 जनवरी, 1809 को जन्मे लुई ब्रेल के जन्म की मान्यता में वार्षिक रूप से मनाया जाता है। विश्व ब्रेल दिवस 2019 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा बनाया गया था और ब्रेल साक्षरता माह के प्रारंभ कार्यक्रम के रूप में कार्य करता है, जो पूरे समय में एक कार्यक्रम है। जनवरी जिसका उद्देश्य ब्रेल और ब्रेल साक्षरता के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।

International World Braille Day is celebrated yearly in recognition of the birth of Louis Braille, born on January 4th, 1809. World Braille Day was created in 2019 by the United Nations General Assembly and serves as the commencement event for Braille Literacy Month, an event throughout January that aims to raise awareness about the importance of braille and braille literacy.
