उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने ‘उत्तराखंड भूकंप अलर्ट’ नाम से अपनी तरह का पहला भूकंप पूर्व चेतावनी मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन लॉन्च किया है। ऐप को उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकर के सहयोग से आईआईटी रुड़की द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। प्रारंभ में, इस ऐप को केवल पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा उत्तराखंड के गढ़वाल क्षेत्र के लिए एक पायलट परियोजना के रूप में लॉन्च किया गया था, परियोजना प्रस्ताव को उत्तराखंड सरकार द्वारा आगे बढ़ाया गया था।

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched the first of its kind earthquake early warning mobile application named ‘Uttarakhand Earthquake Alert’. The app has been developed by IIT Roorkee in collaboration with Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority. Initially, this app was launched only by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India as a pilot project for the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, the project proposal was carried forward by the Government of Uttarakhand.

पद्म श्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित और डोगरी भाषा की पहली आधुनिक महिला कवियत्री पद्मा सचदेव का निधन हो गया। उन्हें 2001 में देश का चौथा सबसे बड़ा नागरिक पुरस्कार पद्म श्री मिला और उन्हें मध्य प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा 2007-08 के लिए कविता के लिए कबीर सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्होंने डोगरी और हिंदी में कई किताबें लिखीं, और उनके कविता संग्रह, जिनमें ‘मेरी कविता मेरे गीत’ शामिल हैं, ने उन्हें 1971 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार जीता था।

Padma Sachdev, a Padma Shri awardee and the first modern woman poet of Dogri language, passed away. He received the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian award, in 2001 and was awarded the Kabir Samman for poetry by the Madhya Pradesh government for 2007–08. He wrote several books in Dogri and Hindi, and his poetry collections, including ‘Meri Kavita Mere Geet’, won him the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1971.

भारतीय नौसेना का जहाज खंजर ओडिशा के गोपालपुर के विरासत तटीय बंदरगाह पर कॉल करने वाला पहला भारतीय नौसेना जहाज बन गया। आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ और 1971 के युद्ध की 50वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य में आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के साथ-साथ स्वर्णिम विजय वर्ष समारोह के हिस्से के रूप में दो दिवसीय यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया था। जहाज की यात्रा का उद्देश्य तटीय सुरक्षा और समुद्री संचालन के पहलुओं पर स्थानीय लोगों के साथ संबंधों को बढ़ाना और जागरूकता फैलाना था।

Indian Naval Ship Khanjar became the first Indian Naval Ship to call upon the heritage coastal port of Gopalpur in Odisha. The two-day yatra was organized as part of the Golden Victory Year celebrations along with the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi to commemorate the 75th anniversary of independence and the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war. The ship’s visit was aimed at enhancing ties and spreading awareness with the local people on aspects of coastal security and maritime operations.

It will also help in improving oxygen availability in Delhi that faced a huge challenge in handling second Covid-19 wave.

‘Krishikarna’ project, the project is the joint initiative of the National Society for Agricultural Horticulture (SAHS), the Sustainability Foundation and Qore3 Innovations. SAHS will be promoting agricultural and gardening practices. The Sustainability Foundation will work to promote sustainable development. The Qore3 Innovations will provide support to the farms to a great extent.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday launched the ‘Har Hit Store’ scheme, under which a chain of grocery stores will be opened in rural and urban areas, with an aim to encourage youth for self-employment. Best quality daily-necessities products will be sold at reasonable prices.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will invite India’s Olympic contingent as a special guest for the Independence Day celebrations on 15 August. Modi will also invite the team to his residence for talks. This year, India is represented by a 228-strong contingent comprising 120 athletes at the Tokyo Olympics. PM Narendra Modi supported and encouraged the Olympians throughout the events. He congratulated the winners and lauded those who made India proud.

सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) ने पूर्वी लद्दाख में उमलिंगला दर्रे पर दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची सड़क का निर्माण किया है। दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची मोटर योग्य सड़क 19,300 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। यह माउंट एवरेस्ट के आधार शिविरों से भी ऊंचा है। तिब्बत में उत्तरी आधार 16,900 फीट है, जबकि नेपाल में दक्षिण आधार शिविर 17,598 फीट है। माउंट एवरेस्ट का शिखर 29,000 फीट से थोड़ा अधिक है।

The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has constructed the world’s highest road at the Umlingala Pass in eastern Ladakh. The highest motorable road in the world is located at an altitude of 19,300 feet. It is higher than the base camps of Mount Everest. The northern base in Tibet is 16,900 feet, while the south base camp in Nepal is 17,598 feet. The summit of Mount Everest is a little over 29,000 feet.
