असम दिवस के अवसर पर, असम की राज्य सरकार ने प्रसिद्ध उद्योगपति रतन टाटा को राज्य में कैंसर देखभाल में उनके योगदान के लिए सर्वोच्च नागरिक राज्य पुरस्कार, ‘असम भाईव’ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित करने का निर्णय लिया है। इसके पहले के पुरस्कार असोम सौरव हैं, उसके बाद असोम गौरव हैं। स्वास्थ्य सेवा को अपनी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकताओं में से एक के रूप में, असम सरकार इस क्षेत्र में कैंसर देखभाल के लिए टाटा के प्रयासों की सराहना कर रही है।

On the occasion of Assam Day, the state government of Assam has decided to honor renowned industrialist Ratan Tata with the highest civilian state award, the ‘Assam Bhairav’ award, for his contribution to cancer care in the state. Its earlier awards are Asom Saurav, followed by Asom Gaurav. With healthcare as one of its top priorities, the Government of Assam is appreciating Tata’s efforts for cancer care in the region.

Pradeep Shah, founder, IndiaAsia Fund Advisors, has been appointed as the chairman of National Asset Reconstruction Company. An MBA from Harvard and a chartered accountant, Shah has also contributed to the founding of India’s first and largest housing finance company, HDFC, and rating firm CRISIL.

Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited has been ranked ‘number one cooperative’ i.e. ‘number one cooperative’ among the top 300 cooperatives in the world. The ranking is based on the ratio of turnover to gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. This shows that IFFCO is contributing significantly to the GDP and economic development of the country. The 10th Annual World Cooperative Monitor Report 2021, along with its 2020 edition, has been released.

The low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm Jawad, which is likely to reach north Andhra Pradesh, south Odisha coasts and parts of West Bengal. The storm, once developed, would be called Jawad (pronounced Jowad), as designated by Saudi Arabia. This will be the third cyclone to move east coast this year, after Yas in May and Gulab in September.

प्रसिद्ध विद्वान और बांग्लादेश के राष्ट्रीय प्रोफेसर रफीकुल इस्लाम का निधन हो गया। प्रो. रफीकुल इस्लाम बांग्लादेश के राष्ट्रीय कवि काजी नजरूल इस्लाम के महानतम विद्वानों में से एक थे। उन्हें स्वाधीनता पदक और एकुशी पदक से सम्मानित किया गया, जो बांग्लादेश का सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार है। वह बांग्ला अकादमी साहित्य पुरस्कार के प्राप्तकर्ता थे। उन्होंने करीब 30 विद्वानों की किताबें लिखी थीं। प्रो. रफीकुल इस्लाम वर्तमान में बांग्ला अकादमी के अध्यक्ष थे।

Renowned scholar and Bangladesh national professor Rafikul Islam passed away. Pro. Rafikul Islam The national poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul was one of the greatest scholars of Islam. He was awarded the Swadhinata Medal and the Ekushi Medal, the highest civilian award of Bangladesh. He was the recipient of Bangla Akademi Sahitya Puraskar. He wrote about 30 scholarly books. Pro. Rafikul Islam was currently the President of the Bangla Academy.

केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने गोरखपुर में दूरदर्शन केंद्र के अर्थ स्टेशन का उद्घाटन किया. इस अवसर पर आकाशवाणी के तीन एफएम स्टेशनों का भी वस्तुतः उद्घाटन किया गया। यह उत्तर प्रदेश में दूरदर्शन का दूसरा अर्थ स्टेशन होगा और इसे 7 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया जा रहा है।

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Earth station of Doordarshan Kendra in Gorakhpur. Three FM stations of All India Radio were also virtually inaugurated on the occasion. This will be Doordarshan’s second earth station in Uttar Pradesh and is being built at a cost of Rs 7 crore.
