भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट कप्तान मिताली राज छह विश्व कप में भाग लेने वाली पहली महिला बन गई हैं। वह सचिन तेंदुलकर और जावेद मियांदाद के बाद छह विश्व कप खेलने वाली कुल मिलाकर तीसरी क्रिकेटर हैं। वह 2000, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 और अब 2022 में ICC महिला क्रिकेट विश्व कप स्पर्धाओं में खेल चुकी हैं। आईसीसी महिला क्रिकेट विश्व कप 2022 का आयोजन न्यूजीलैंड में हो रहा है।

Indian women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj has become the first woman to participate in six World Cups. She is the third cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad to play six World Cups overall. She has played in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup events in 2000, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 and now 2022. The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 is being held in New Zealand.

The 53rd Raising Day celebrations of the Central Industrial Security Forces were held on March 06, 2022 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended and addressed the Raising Day celebrations of CISF at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The CISF, which functions under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, is a central armed police force and one of the six paramilitary forces of India. Over 3 million passengers in the Delhi Metro and 1 million at airports across the country pass through CISF security.

The Sikkim government has given twenty thousand rupees to all the non-working mothers and free sanitary napkins to all the girl students studying in class nine. Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang made this announcement . Addressing a program at Melli, the CM said that the state government would start Amma scheme for non-working women and Bahini scheme for girl students.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi inaugurated the Pune Metro Rail Project on March 06, 2022, and also interacted with the handicapped, visually impaired students present inside the metro coach during his 10-minute ride in the Pune Metro. The Pune Metro Rail Project has been built at a total cost of Rs 11,420 crore. It has a total length of 33.2 km and 30 stations.

The Indian railway, after years of systematic planning and rounds of track-based trials, has turned self-reliant in preventing head-on collision even when two trains, either out of a possible human error or an abrupt technical failure, come running on the same track. The railway has set off the successful trial and testing of indigenously developed collisions preventing system, colloquially called ‘Kavach’.

This day is observed globally every year on 8 March to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Also, it is an action for accelerating gender parity. Purple is the colour that symbolizes women internationally. The combination of the purple, green and white colour is to symbolize the equality of women which is originated from the Women’s Social and Political Union in the UK in 1908. Indian author and journalist, Amitava Kumar has come up with a new book titled ‘The Blue Book: A Writers Journal’. The book is published by HarperCollins India. The Blue Book is the result of the diary being kept by the author during the lockdown due to the pandemic. The author has used watercolor illustrations as well as words to portray both the individual and collective experience of the pandemic.

Telangana became the top performing state in India with a population of over one crore in terms of growth rate of net state domestic product per capita at current prices by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. It was successful in other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
