Fintech company BharatPe announced its foray into the ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ (BNPL) category with the launch of ‘Postpay’. The new platform gives customers credit to shop now and pay later from anywhere. Customers using the Postpay platform can download the app from the Play Store and avail an interest free credit limit of up to Rs 10 lakh. The company said that Postpay is not limited to just big ticket purchases, but it can also be used for micro purchases, making it the first of its kind.

Young Indian shooter, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar won the gold medal by setting a world record in the final of the men’s 50m rifle three positions event at the ISSF Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru. The youngster bettered the junior world record with a score of 463.4 in the final, nearly seven points ahead of second-placed Frenchman Lucas Kriz, who won silver with a score of 456.5. Gavin Barnick of USA won the bronze medal with a score of 446.6.

The Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) officials have been asked by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change to rename the CTR as Ramganga National Park (RNP). The reason being the Rāmgangā river which flows in the reserve is its lifeline. It was during Ashwini Kumar Choubey, the Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC) visit to the reserve , he has asked the CTR Director to initiate the renaming process, as per information shared by a forest official.
