भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक के पूर्व गवर्नर उर्जित पटेल को बीज़िंग (चीन) स्थित बहुदेशीय वित्त संस्थान एशियन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट बैंक (एआईआईबी) का उपाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। इसकी जानकारी AIIB की तरफ से दी गई है. उर्जित पटेल एआईआईबी के निवर्तमान उपाध्यक्ष डीजे पांडियन का स्थान लेंगे।

Former Reserve Bank of India governor Urjit Patel has been appointed as the vice-chairman of the Beijing (China)-based multinational financial institution Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), information has been given by AIIB. Urjit Patel will replace outgoing AIIB vice-president DJ Pandian.

सीएम योगी ने एक बार फिर बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए मैनपुरी के सैनिक स्कूल का नाम बदलने का निर्णय लिया है। अब मैनपुरी का सैनिक स्कूल शहीद जनरल बिपिन रावत के नाम पर होगा. मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह शहीद जनरल रावत को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि होगी। इससे युवाओं को प्रेरणा मिलेगी। मैनपुरी स्थित सैनिक स्कूल की शुरुआत एक अप्रैल 2019 को हुई थी। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार और रक्षा मंत्रालय के बीच 30 अप्रैल 2015 को हुए एक समझौते के आधार पर इस स्कूल की स्थापना की गई थी।

Taking a big decision once again, CM Yogi has decided to change the name of Sainik School of Mainpuri. Now Sainik School of Mainpuri will be named after martyr General Bipin Rawat. The Chief Minister said that this would be a true tribute to the martyr General Rawat. This will inspire the youth. Mainpuri-based Sainik School was started on 1st April 2019. The school was established on the basis of an agreement signed on 30 April 2015 between the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Ministry of Defence.

लोसांग (नामसूंग) प्रतिवर्ष भारतीय राज्य सिक्किम में तिब्बती चंद्र कैलेंडर के 10वें महीने के 18वें दिन मनाया जाता है, जो फसल के मौसम की शुरुआत का भी प्रतीक है। नामसूंग त्योहार अमावस्या के चरण कुर्नीत लोवो के पहले दिन से शुरू होता है, जो लेपचा चंद्र सौर कैलेंडर के अनुसार डुंगकिट करचू के रूप में जाना जाता है। सिक्किमी भूटिया द्वारा लोसांग त्योहार सोनम लोसूंग के रूप में और लेप्चा द्वारा नामसूंग के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह त्योहार नेपाल और भूटान में भी मनाया जाता है।

Losang (Namsung) is celebrated annually on the 18th day of the 10th month of the Tibetan lunar calendar in the Indian state of Sikkim, which also marks the beginning of the harvest season. The Namsung festival begins on the first day of the new moon phase Kurnit Lowo, which is known as Dungkit Karchu according to the Lepcha lunar solar calendar. The Losang festival is celebrated by the Sikkimese Bhutias as Sonam Losung and by the Lepchas as Namsung. This festival is also celebrated in Nepal and Bhutan.

भारत के प्रधान मंत्री, नरेंद्र मोदी ने घोषणा की है कि वर्ष 2022 से, 26 दिसंबर को हर साल ‘वीर बाल दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जाएगा। इस दिन को 4 साहिबजादों (गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के चार पुत्र) के साहस को श्रद्धांजलि के रूप में मनाया जाएगा, जिन्होंने 17 वीं शताब्दी में शहादत प्राप्त की थी। यह घोषणा 09 जनवरी, 2022 को श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के प्रकाश पर्व या सिखों के 10वें गुरु और खालसा समुदाय के संस्थापक की जयंती के अवसर पर की गई थी।

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has announced that from the year 2022, 26 December will be celebrated every year as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. The day will be observed as a tribute to the courage of 4 Sahibzadas (four sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji) who attained martyrdom in the 17th century. The announcement was made on January 09, 2022, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakash Parv or the 10th Guru of the Sikhs and the founder of the Khalsa community.

Bahamian-American actor Sidney Poitier, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1964, has died at the age of 94. In 1963, Poitier made a film in Lily of the Field, Arizona. The performance marked a major milestone, making him the first black winner of a lead-acting Oscar. He was awarded the US Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009 by President Obama for his work.

Child marriage became illegal in the Philippines as a law banning the practice took effect in a country where one in six girls enters wedlock before the age of 18. The impoverished Southeast Asian country has the 12th highest number of child marriages in the world, according to Britain-based rights group Plan International, with long-held cultural practices and gender inequalities hindering change.

Legends League Cricket has appointed Jhulan Goswami as an ambassador to its All Women Match official team to promote LLC’s women’s empowerment initiative and increase the participation of women in cricket. LLC established the all-female match official team for the league. It is the first of its all-female official teams to operate an all-men’s league.
