भगत सिंह के पैतृक गांव खटकर कलां में राज्यपाल बनवारीलाल पुरोहित की मौजूदगी में भगवंत मान ने पंजाब के 18वें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ली. आम आदमी पार्टी ने 117 सदस्यीय पंजाब विधानसभा में कांग्रेस और शिअद-बसपा गठबंधन को पछाड़ते हुए 92 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की। भगवंत मान ने ‘जो बोले सो निहाल’ और ‘भारत माता की जय’ का नारा लगाते हुए शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में शामिल हुए लोगों का शुक्रिया अदा किया. मान ने अपना भाषण ‘इंकलाब जिंदाबाद’ (लॉन्ग लिव द रेवोलुशन) के साथ समाप्त किया।

Bhagwant Mann took oath as the 18th Chief Minister of Punjab in the presence of Governor Banwarilal Purohit at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of Bhagat Singh. The Aam Aadmi Party won 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly, beating the Congress and the SAD-BSP alliance. Bhagwant Mann thanked the people who attended the swearing-in ceremony, raising the slogans of ‘Jo Bole So Nihal’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. Mann concluded his speech with ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ (Long Live the Revolution).

जब मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य की बात आती है तो केरल एक बार फिर शीर्ष पर आ गया है, जिसमें राज्य ने देश में सबसे कम मातृ मृत्यु अनुपात 30 (प्रति एक लाख जीवित जन्म) दर्ज किया है। नवीनतम आंकड़ों के अनुसार, 2017-19 की अवधि के लिए भारत का मातृ मृत्यु अनुपात सुधरकर 103 हो गया है।

Kerala has once again emerged on top when it comes to maternal and child health, with the state registering the lowest maternal mortality ratio of 30 (per one lakh live births) in the country. As per the latest data, India’s maternal mortality ratio has improved to 103 for the period 2017-19.

The country’s first Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technology Park was launched in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is promoted by a not-for-profit foundation set up by the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, with a capital of Rs 230 crore from the state and central governments.

Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati Sangathan, founded by eminent Jainacharya Dr Lokeshji, Ambassador of Peace, will set up India’s first World Peace Center in Gurugram, Haryana. For this, the Haryana government has allotted a plot in Gurugram’s Sector 39 in front of Medanta Hospital and adjacent to the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The ‘World Peace Center’ will work for the establishment of peace and harmony in the world.

दीनदयाल अंत्योदय योजना-राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन (डीएवाई-एनआरएलएम), ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित ‘जेंडर संवाद’ के तीसरे संस्करण में भाग लेने के लिए 34 राज्यों के 3000 से अधिक राज्य मिशन कर्मचारियों और स्वयं सहायता समूहों (एसएचजी) के सदस्यों ने लॉग इन किया। यह लिंग के दृष्टिकोण से देश भर में मिशन की गतिविधियों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए डीएवाई-एनआरएलएम द्वारा चलाया जाने वाला एक राष्ट्रीय आभासी प्रयास है। इस संस्करण में महिलाओं के समूह के माध्यम से खाद्य और पोषण सुरक्षा को बढ़ावा देने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया था। यह कार्यक्रम अमृत महोत्सव के प्रतिष्ठित सप्ताह स्मरणोत्सव थीम ‘नए भारत की नारी’ के हिस्से के रूप में आयोजित किया गया था।

Delhi Government has launched an online ‘My EV’ (My Electric Vehicle) portal for purchase and registration of Electric Autos in Delhi. It is available to all users on the website of Transport Department of Delhi. Under the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy, 5% interest rate subvention will be provided on the purchase of e-autos on loan and will become the first state to provide such facility. The web portal was developed in collaboration with the Government of Delhi and Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL).

“Writing with Fire”, a documentary about Dalit-led, all-female newspaper Khabar Lahariya, became the first Indian documentary to be nominated for an Oscar. “Writing With Fire” won the Audience and Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival last year. It is produced by Ticket Films and directed by filmmakers Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh. Khabar Lahariya is a newspaper established in May 2002 in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.
