अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद ने घोषणा की कि क्रिकेट के दिग्गज महेला जयवर्धने (श्रीलंका), शॉन पोलाक (दक्षिण अफ्रीका) और जेनेट ब्रिटिन (इंग्लैंड) को हॉल ऑफ फेम में शामिल किया गया है। ICC हॉल ऑफ फेम क्रिकेट के लंबे और शानदार इतिहास से खेल के दिग्गजों की उपलब्धियों को मान्यता देता है। 2009 में इसकी शुरुआत के बाद से 106 खिलाड़ियों को शामिल किया गया है।

The International Cricket Council announced that cricket legends Mahela Jayawardene (Sri Lanka), Shaun Pollock (South Africa) and Janet Brittin (England) have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. The ICC Hall of Fame recognizes the achievements of stalwarts of the sport from the long and illustrious history of cricket. Since its introduction in 2009, 106 players have been included.

November 19 is the birth anniversary of Rani Lakshmi Bai, an icon of valor and courage and a great national symbol of the nation’s defense and freedom struggle of India. As a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv will be organized from November 17 to November 19, 2021.

World Toilet Day is observed on 19 November annually to inspire people about tackling the issue of the global sanitation crisis and to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, which promises sanitation for all by 2030. According to WHO and UNICEF around 60% of the global population that is approx 4.5 billion people either have no toilet at home or one that does not safely manage excreta.

Tamil film Koozhangal will be screened in the Indian Panorama section at the 52nd International Film Festival of Goa. Koozhangal is also India’s official entry for the Academy Awards for the Oscars. It is the story of the relationship between a drunken, abusive husband and his wife. The story is from their child’s point of view.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference in Shimla. The first conference was held in Shimla in 1921 and AIPOC is being held in Shimla for the seventh time. The All India Presiding Officers Conference (AIPOC) is celebrating its hundred years in 2021. Various issues like the Constitution, the House and the responsibility of the Presiding Officers towards the people will be discussed in this conference.

During the ICC Board meeting, BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly has been appointed as the Chairman of the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee. Ganguly will replace Anil Kumble who took over in 2012. Kumble stepped down after serving a maximum of three separate terms.

A first of its kind, dedicated Fisheries Business Incubator has been inaugurated in Gurugram, Haryana, which nurtures fisheries start-ups in real market led conditions. The incubator is known as LINAC-NCDC Fisheries Business Incubation Center. It was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Shri Purushottam Rupala.
