ओडिशा बीजू स्वास्थ्य कल्याण योजना के तहत 96 लाख परिवारों के 3.5 करोड़ लोगों को कवर करते हुए भारत की पहली ‘स्मार्ट हेल्थ कार्ड योजना ‘ शुरू करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। उसी की जानकारी ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री (सीएम) नवीन पटनायक ने भुवनेश्वर में 75 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए प्रदान की। स्मार्ट हेल्थ कार्ड के पीछे का उद्देश्य सर्वोत्तम उपलब्ध स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सुविधाओं पर परेशानी मुक्त गुणवत्तापूर्ण उपचार प्रदान करना है। ये कार्ड एक निश्चित राशि के लिए डेबिट कार्ड की तरह काम करेंगे।

Odisha is all set to launch India’s first ‘Smart Health Card Scheme’ under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana covering 3.5 crore people from 96 lakh families. The information of the same was provided by Odisha Chief Minister (CM) Naveen Patnaik while addressing the 75th Independence Day celebrations in Bhubaneswar. The objective behind Smart Health Card is to provide hassle free quality treatment at the best available health care facilities. These cards will work like a debit card for a fixed amount.

The platform was launched at the United Nations Headquarters in the presence of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. The Unite Aware platform was launched when India assumed the presidency of the 15-nation UN Security Council for the month of August.

With a network of solar-based electric vehicle charging stations, the Delhi-Chandigarh highway has become the first EV-friendly highway in the country. The network of stations was established by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited under the FAME-1 (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid) and Electric Vehicles) scheme of the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
