Dr SK Sohan Roy from Kerala, CEO and founder of Aerys Group of Companies, has become the first Indian to be awarded the Knighthood of Part Gulfa for his humanitarian and environmental protection efforts in business and films. The honorary title of “Knight of Part Guelfa” has been conferred on him at the conference ceremony held during the Investiture of Annus Domini 2021 Part Gulfa and was held in the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Palagio di Part Gulfa in Florence, Italy.

मालदीव, भारत और श्रीलंका के द्विवार्षिक त्रिपक्षीय अभ्यास ‘दोस्ती’ का 5 दिवसीय, 15 वां संस्करण 20-24 नवंबर 2021 को शांतिपूर्ण और स्थिर हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र के लिए क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा संरचना के हिस्से के रूप में मालदीव में आयोजित किया गया था। अभ्यास 3 देशों के तट रक्षकों के बीच द्विवार्षिक रूप से आयोजित किया जाता है। अभ्यास की शुरुआत के बाद से यह वर्ष 30 वां वर्ष है।

The 5-day, 15th edition of the biennial trilateral exercise ‘DOSTI’ of Maldives, India and Sri Lanka was held in Maldives from 20-24 November 2021 as part of the Regional Security Formation for a Peaceful and Stable Indian Ocean Region. The exercise is conducted biennially between the Coast Guards of 3 countries. This year is the 30th year since the start of the exercise.

Minister of Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh has launched India’s first virtual science lab for children under CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) Jigyasa programme. This lab will connect students with scientists from across the country. To provide quality research exposure and innovative pedagogy to school students based on an online interactive medium.

केंद्रीय वित्त और कॉर्पोरेट मामलों की मंत्री, निर्मला सीतारमण ने 18-35 वर्ष तक की आयु की लड़कियों के लिए अपना व्यवसाय शुरू करने के लिए जम्मू-कश्मीर बैंक की ‘तेजस्विनी और हौसला योजना’ नाम से दो योजनाएं शुरू की हैं और जम्मू और कश्मीर में पर्यटन के विकास के लिए पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की ‘शिखर और शिकारा ‘ योजनाएं शुरू की हैं।

The Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman has launched two schemes named ‘Tejaswini and Hausla Yojana’ of J&K Bank for girls in the age group of 18-35 years to start their own business and J&K Punjab National Bank’s ‘Shikhar and Shikara’ schemes have been started for the development of tourism in the state.

प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने प्रधान मंत्री गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना के विस्तार को और चार महीने के लिए मंजूरी दे दी है। PMGKAY योजना का चरण V दिसंबर 2021 से मार्च 2022 तक चालू रहेगा। इस योजना के तहत, राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम के तहत आने वाले सभी लाभार्थियों को प्रति व्यक्ति प्रति माह 5 किलो की दर से खाद्यान्न प्राप्त होता है।

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the extension of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for another four months. Phase V of PMGKAY scheme will be operational from December 2021 to March 2022. Under this scheme, all the beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act get food grains at the rate of 5 kg per person per month.

The 13th edition of the Asia-Europe Meeting Summit has been held on November 25 and 26, 2021. The summit is being hosted by Cambodia with ASEM chairman. The theme of the two-day ASEM summit is Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Development. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu is leading the Indian delegation through the virtual platform.

Former army officer Maroof Raza has written a new book titled “Contested Lands: India, China and the Boundary Dispute”. The book traces the history of India’s border formation with Tibet and China and analyzes the current India-China border dispute stemming from interpretations of history from the post-colonial period.
