Former India captain and now Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Mohammad Azharuddin unveiled the tank bund on the tank as the largest cricket bat designed by Pernod Ricard India (P) Ltd as certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. The bat measures 56.10 feet, weighs 9 tons and is made of poplar wood. This was to wish the Indian cricket team all the best and bring back the T20 World Cup in Dubai.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने फैज़ाबाद जंक्शन का नाम बदलकर अयोध्या कैंट रेलवे स्टेशन करने का फैसला किया है। 1874 में खोला गया, फैज़ाबाद रेलवे स्टेशन उत्तर रेलवे क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आता है। यह लखनऊ-वाराणसी खंड के अंतर्गत आता है। इससे पहले 2018 में, योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार ने दिवाली के अवसर पर फैज़ाबाद अयोध्या का नाम बदल दिया था। भाजपा सरकार ने इलाहाबाद का नाम बदलकर प्रयागराज और मुगलसराय रेलवे जंक्शन को पं दीन दयाल उपाध्याय जंक्शन कर दिया।

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to change the name of Faizabad Junction to Ayodhya Cantt Railway Station. Opened in 1874, Faizabad railway station comes under the Northern Railway zone. It comes under Lucknow-Varanasi section. Earlier in 2018, the Yogi Adityanath government had changed the name of Ayodhya to Faizabad on the occasion of Diwali. The BJP government changed the name of Allahabad to Prayagraj and Mughalsarai Railway Junction to Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.

Zimbabwean novelist and filmmaker Tsitsi Dangarembga on October 24, 2021, was awarded the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade 2021 for her artistic work as well as her political commitment. 62-year-old Dangarembga has been fighting against corruption and freedom for years. She is a ‘widely audible voice of Africa in contemporary literature’, the jury noted. In her acceptance speech, she called for a fundamental shift to overcome racial hierarchy and the violence in Zimbabwe.

Surabhi Vatika- an aromatic plant garden developed by the research wing of Uttarakhand Forest Department was inaugurated in Lalkuan area of Nainital district on Sunday. Established in an area covering about three acres, this garden has about 140 different aromatic species making it the biggest aromatic garden of the country.
