श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी रूर्बन मिशन को लागू करने वाले 34 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में तेलंगाना ने पहला स्थान हासिल किया है। तमिलनाडु और गुजरात ने सूची में क्रमश: दूसरा और तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया है। क्लस्टर की रैंकिंग में, 295 समूहों में, संगारेड्डी के रयाकल क्लस्टर और तेलंगाना में कामारेड्डी के जुक्कल क्लस्टर ने क्रमशः पहला और दूसरा स्थान हासिल किया है। मिजोरम में आइजोल के ऐबॉक क्लस्टर ने तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया है।

Telangana has topped among 34 states and union territories that have implemented the Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Rurban Mission. Tamil Nadu and Gujarat have secured the second and third positions respectively in the list. In the ranking of clusters, out of 295 clusters, Raykal cluster of Sangareddy and Jukkal cluster of Kamareddy in Telangana have secured first and second position respectively. Aizawl’s Aibok Cluster in Mizoram has secured the third position.

Radhika Jha has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in state-run Energy Efficiency Services. EESL is a joint venture between NTPC, Power Grid, Power Finance Corp and REC working to promote energy efficiency in the country.

Diplomat Vikram Misri has been appointed as Deputy National Security Advisor in the National Security Council Secretariat. The appointment of Misri, a 1989 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, comes after serving as the Indian Ambassador to China for nearly three years. He served in various capacities at the Headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs as well as in the Prime Minister’s Office. Misri will report to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Presently, Rajinder Khanna, Pankaj Saran and Dattatreya Padsalgikar are serving as Deputy NSAs.

खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स अगले साल मध्य प्रदेश में होंगे। इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान की अध्यक्षता में कैबिनेट की बैठक हुई। इसमें भोपाल में अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल परिसर के निर्माण, मशीनों व उपकरणों की खरीद के लिए खेलो इंडिया योजना के तहत 3 साल के लिए 215 करोड़ रुपये की मंजूरी दी गई है. खेल परिसर का उपयोग विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए किया जाएगा।

Khelo India Youth Games will be held in Madhya Pradesh next year. For this, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this, Rs 215 crore has been approved for 3 years under Khelo India scheme for construction of international sports complex in Bhopal, purchase of machines and equipment. The sports complex will be used for various competitions.

Japan has unveiled the world’s first dual-mode vehicle resembling a minibus in its hometown of Kayo. The vehicle can run on normal rubber tires on the road, but its steel wheels, which are on its underside, come down when it hits the railroad tracks. The DMV can carry 21 passengers and can run at a speed of 60 km/h on rail tracks and about 100 km/h on public roads.

Welcomes Egypt as a new member of the BRICS New Development Bank. With this, Egypt has now become the fourth new member to be admitted to the BRICS NDB. The BRICS grouping comprises five major emerging countries from around the world – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa and the multilateral bank BRICS NDB was established to finance sustainable development projects by these growing economies.

भारतीय वन सेवा के अधिकारी, चंद्र प्रकाश गोयल को वन महानिदेशक और विशेष सचिव, पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। 1986 बैच के आईएफएस अधिकारी गोयल पहले उत्तर प्रदेश के वन विभाग के तहत प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक थे केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने IFoS अधिकारी की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दी। वह भारतीय जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग में संयुक्त सचिव के रूप में केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति पर रहने के बाद यूपी लौटे थे।

Indian Forest Service officer, Chandra Prakash Goel has been appointed as Director General of Forests and Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Goel, a 1986 batch IFS officer, was earlier the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests under the Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh. The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet approved the appointment of an IFOS officer. He had returned to UP after being on central deputation as Joint Secretary in the Indian Department of Biotechnology.
