The Ramon Magsaysay Award, which is called the Nobel Prize of Asia, has been announced. Four Asians have been given the Ramon Magsaysay Award in the 65th ceremony. Cancer expert Dr. Ravi Kannan from India, Korvi Rakshand from Bangladesh, Eugenio Lemos from Timor-Leste and Miriam Coronel-Ferrer from the Philippines have received the Ramon Magsaysay Award 2023. Kannan has been serving as the Director of Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Center (CCHRC), Assam since 2007.

The Indian men’s hockey team on Saturday won the inaugural season of the Hockey 5S Asia Cup. India beat arch-rivals Pakistan 2-0 in the shootout. With this, India has qualified for the FIH Men’s Hockey 5S World Cup Oman 2024. For India, Mohammad Raheel (19′, 26′), Jugraj Singh (7′), and Maninder Singh (10′) scored. Islamic financial institutions already exist in Russia, but this is the first time that the country’s legislation has officially supported their launch. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a creative comic book titled “Let’s Move Forward” during a function held at Kaushal Bhawan in New Delhi, Delhi. The primary objective of the book “Let’s Move Forward” is to enhance the health and overall well-being of school going children across India. The comic book was jointly created by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Department of School Education and Literacy of the Ministry of Education and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) New Delhi.
