To improve the standard of living and increase the dignity of widows, the Jharkhand government is all set to launch the State Widow Remarriage Incentive Scheme. Chief Minister Champai Soren will formally launch it on Wednesday. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the widow who remarries. He witnessed the initiation of “Core Loading” into India’s first indigenous Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) (500 MW) at Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu. PFBR has been completely designed and built by Bhavini, with significant contribution from over 200 Indian industries, including MSMEs, in line with the spirit of self-reliant India.
