व्याख्या:- उत्तराखंड समान नागरिक संहिता (यूसीसी) लागू करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य बन गया। यूसीसी का लक्ष्य सभी नागरिकों के लिए एक समान कानूनों को मानकीकृत करना है चाहे उनका धर्म कुछ भी हो। उत्तराखंड में समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करने के लिए रि. जस्टिस न्यायमूर्ति रंजना पी. देसाई के नेतृत्व में एक समिति का गठन किया गया था।
Uttarakhand became the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). UCC aims to standardize uniform laws for all citizens irrespective of their religion.
