The Elephant Whispers by Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves has won the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film. Both reached the stage of Oscar to receive the award. The documentary, The Elephant Whispers, was nominated in the Best Documentary Short category.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the world’s longest railway platform of 1.5 km at Sri Siddaruda Railway Station in Hubli in the state of Karnataka. The platform was inaugurated during the PM’s visit to Karnataka in the presence of Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. It is noteworthy that Indian Railways, South Western Railway Zone Hubli is now recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest platform.

Participated in the Partnership Exercise (MPX). French-made weapons, including several indigenous guided missiles, were used in the two-day maritime partnership exercise.

According to satellite data collected over the last two decades, two districts of Uttarakhand, Rudraprayag and Tehri, are facing the highest risk of landslides. Data collected by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) showed that Rudraprayag and Tehri Garhwal are most prone to face landslides, with the highest number of landslides in the last 20 years.

A parliamentary delegation from India led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is participating in the 146th meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Bahrain these days. The meeting will continue till March 15 in Bahrain’s city of Manama. During the visit, Lok Sabha Speaker Birla met President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco and Speaker of Bahrain Fauzia Zainal and discussed with them various issues of mutual interest and cooperation.

व्याख्या:- उत्तराखंड में 22 अप्रैल से शुरू होने वाली चारधाम यात्रा के लिए व्यापक तैयारियां हो रही हैं। लगभग 900 किलोमीटर लंबे चारधाम यात्रा मार्ग में देश का पहला इलेक्ट्रिक तीर्थ कॉरिडोर बन रहा है। प्राइवेट इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों (EV) के लिए हर 30 किमी पर चार्जिंग पॉइंट बनाए जा रहे हैं। राज्य के सभी गेस्ट हाउस में भी चार्जिंग पॉइंट की सुविधा मिलेगी। इलेक्ट्रिक तीर्थ कॉरिडोर का सर्वे पूरा कर लिया गया है। ई-वाहन चार्जिंग स्टेशनों के लिए जगह भी चिन्हित कर ली गई है।
Extensive preparations are being made in Uttarakhand for the Chardham Yatra starting from 22nd April. The country’s first electric pilgrimage corridor is being built in the Chardham Yatra route, about 900 kilometers long. Charging points are being made every 30 km for private electric vehicles (EV). Charging point facility will also be available in all the guest houses of the state. The survey of Electric Pilgrimage Corridor has been completed. Space has also been identified for e-vehicle charging stations.
