Makki is the brother-in-law of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed. The Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has included Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthiana) in the list of protected plants under Schedule III of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. According to the order, those who uproot or destroy this plant will be fined Rs 25,000 along with three years of imprisonment. Cultivation and claiming of Neelakurinji is not allowed. The blooming of Neelakurinji is one of the main attractions for tourists, who visit the places where it blooms. However, this has also led to the destruction of the plant, which is a major threat to the fields of this flower.
व्याख्या:- केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय ने वन्यजीव (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 1972 की अनुसूची III के तहत नीलकुरिंजी (स्ट्रोबिलैंथेस कुंथियाना) को संरक्षित पौधों की सूची में शामिल किया है। आदेश के अनुसार, इस पौधे को उखाड़ने या नष्ट करने वालों पर तीन साल की कैद के साथ 25,000 रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। नीलकुरिंजी की खेती और इस पर हक़ जताने की अनुमति नहीं है। नीलकुरिंजी का खिलना पर्यटकों के लिए एक मुख्य आकर्षण है, जो उन स्थानों पर आते हैं जहां यह खिलता है। हालाँकि, इससे पौधे का विनाश भी हुआ है, जो इस फूल के क्षेत्रों के लिए एक बड़ा खतरा है।
The Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has included Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthiana) in the list of protected plants under Schedule III of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. According to the order, those who uproot or destroy this plant will be fined Rs 25,000 along with three years of imprisonment. Cultivation and claiming of Neelakurinji is not allowed. The blooming of Neelakurinji is one of the main attractions for tourists, who visit the places where it blooms. However, this has also led to the destruction of the plant, which is a major threat to the fields of this flower.
