India’s first ‘centrally-funded cow sanctuary’ will come up in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh by the end of January, 2024. This sanctuary is located in Tughlaqpur-Kamhera village under Purkaji block of Muzaffarnagar district. The sanctuary has been built with funding of Rs 64 crore from the ‘Rashtriya Gokul Mission’ (RGM). RGM is a centrally sponsored scheme run by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

The first bilateral maritime exercise between the Indian Navy (IN) and the Royal Thai Navy (RTN) was conducted from 20 to 23 December 2023. The first edition of the exercise saw participation from Indian Navy’s indigenously built ships Kulish and IN LCU 56, while Royal Thai Navy’s Her Majesty’s Ship (HTMS) Prachuap Khiri Khan participated. व्याख्या:- देश के सबसे बड़े सरकारी बैंक स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (SBI) ने एक नए टर्म डिपॉजिट लॉन्च किया। एसबीआई ने ग्रीन रुपी टर्म डिपॉजिट (SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit- SGRTD) शुरू किया है। इसका उद्देश्य फ्रेंडली पहलू के साथ प्रोजेक्ट्स को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पैसे जुटाना है। इस डिपॉजिट से ग्रीन फाइनेंस एकोसिस्टम (green finance ecosystem) में विकास देखने को मिला है। इस डिपॉजिट को लेकर एसबीआई ने एक प्रेस रिलीज जारी किया है था। इस प्रेस रिलीज में उन्होंने कहा था कि यह फाइनेंस को बढ़ावा देने के साथ ही हरित गतिविधियों में योगदान दिया। एक स्थायी भविष्य के लिए देश के समर्थन के लिए एसबीआई अवसर देता है।
The country’s largest government bank State Bank of India (SBI) launched a new term deposit. SBI has launched Green Rupee Term Deposit (SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit- SGRTD). Its aim is to raise money to promote projects with a friendly aspect. This deposit has seen development in the green finance ecosystem. SBI had issued a press release regarding this deposit. In this press release he had said that it contributed to green activities along with promoting finance. SBI provides opportunities to support the country for a sustainable future.

The Kerala Drug Control Department has taken a proactive step to tackle the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through Operation AMRUT (Antimicrobial Resistance Intervention for Total Health). The initiative aims to curb excessive use of antibiotics in the state by conducting surprise raids in pharmacies and detecting over-the-counter (OTC) sale of antibiotics without doctor’s prescription.
