In a recent announcement, the Ministry of Tourism has declared Biswanath Ghat in Assam as the Best Tourism Village of India for the year 2023. The recognition comes after an extensive selection process that included the review of 791 applications from 31 different states and union territories across the country. The opposition parties did not field any candidate for the post of Speaker. The post of chairman had become vacant after the resignation of Bikram Keshari Arukha in May this year. Pramila Malik is a six-time MLA from Binjharpur assembly seat in Jajpur district of Odisha. This is a reserved seat for Scheduled Caste communities.

Naveen Patnaik government in Odisha today launched Special Investment Scheme – Stainless Steel to give 20 per cent subsidy on capital investment to investors. Odisha Chief Secretary Hemant Sharma launched the scheme in Mumbai today. In this scheme the state government will provide subsidy for a period of five years. The Principal Secretary of Odisha said that the state government will provide the subsidy over a period of 5 years. Odisha government has not set any investment limit for this scheme.

व्याख्या:- हर साल 25 सितंबर को दुनियाभर में विश्व फार्मासिस्ट दिवस (World Pharmacists Day) मनाया जाता है। बता दें जब भी कोई व्यक्ति बीमार होता है तो वह डॉक्टर के पास जाता है और डॉक्टर उसे कुछ दवाईयां लिख कर देता हैं, जिन्हें लेने के लिए आपको फार्मासिस्ट के पास जाना पड़ता है। इन्ही फार्मेसियों पर ध्यान आकर्षित करने के उद्देश्य से इस दिन को मनाने की शुरुआत की गई। इस दिन को मनाने की शुरुआत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फार्मास्युटिकल फेडरेशन (FIP) के द्वारा इस्तांबुल तुर्की में की गई थी। साल 1912 में 25 सितंबर को ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय फार्मास्युटिकल्स की स्थापना की गई थी, जिसकी वजह से हर साल 25 सितंबर को विश्व फार्मासिस्ट दिवस मनाया जाता है।

INS Sahyadri is an indigenously built warship of the Indian Navy. It participated in the exercise from 20-21 September 2023. The trilateral exercise provided an opportunity to the three maritime nations to strengthen their partnership. It also provided them an opportunity to improve their collective capacity to support a stable, peaceful and secure Indo-Pacific region. INS Sahyadri is the third ship of the indigenously designed and built Project-17 class multirole stealth frigates.
